Rising Sun Rocking Stool

We are a population that is always on the go.  Even when we are seated, we find ourselves tapping our heels or touching our phones in anticipation of the next move.  The Rising Sun Stool allows you to transfer that energy into its kinetic structure, which enables you to focus for longer periods of time.  The square bottom provides a user with resting points if motion is not constantly desired.  The four sides emulate north, south, east, and west, while the orange seat parallels to that of the sun.  This design was created for Working Class Studio's Product Development Division as an accent furniture design.

The Money Tree

The Money Tree was the winner of a design contest for a Habitat for Humanity donation box.  Drawing inspiration from the Habitat logo, I turned the three human figures into trees which symbolizes the lumber involved in completing their projects.  Being a part of this competition was a way for me to contribute to such a community- oriented organization that is constantly giving back.  These donation boxes are laser cut birch plywood with acrylic panels.  This design is installed and under contract with GGP Corporation and Oglethorp Mall.
